I was really looking forward to this trial as I was intrigued by the filter of not backing in any race above 8 runners? An angle I’ve often thought would have legs with a Dutching approach, maybe 2 or even 3 selections and narrowing selections down to a few that are clear of the rest in term of ratings. However Fantastic Eights picked one from each qualifying race.
Prices were in the main perfectly obtainable, but as ever you will find a few that may have shortened before you have time to place your bets. As ever been quick off the mark will help you find the majority of the advised prices will be available.

The service advises mainly 5pt win bets and I set my unit stake at £2 per point giving me a stake on each selection advised of £10.
300 Points is advised for a betting to cover drawdown’s.

Delivery of the service is very good with emails arriving with advised bets (if any) around 11.30am – 12pm each racing day.
All bets come with the recommended point value to bet with.
Conclusion & Trial Verdict:
Well quite an up and down trial for Fantastic Eights, with the highs of a 20/1 on 4th December that brought the trial into profit early December, and also 2 x 10/1 winners as well. Despite these big priced winners the trial ended slightly down with a loss of £5 using £2 per point stakes that gave an average stake of £10 for each selections from the 5 point advised bets.
The service was not short of selections either with 165 in total over the 10 weeks, and with 27 winners giving a winning strike of 16.36%.
I can’t help feeling this trial could have swung either way in terms of going into further losses or going back into profit such is the nature and price of selections advised.
The Verdict?
In regards to my final verdict, well the service never made a profit but neither did it make great losses either? The advised betting bank pretty much remains intact to fight another day. So with that in mind I can’t really fail the service nor give it a pass? Therefore it’s definitely one that deserves another re-visit in perhaps 12 weeks to see how its performing.
It’s easy to follow with bets clearly given and emails arrive promptly everyday. All bets are recorded and logged frequently so very transparent for all to see whether its suits them based on past results given. So for now it’s a NEUTRAL and I wouldn’t put anyone off given it a try especially seen as even with a 16.36% winning strike rate the Betting Bank was never in danger of going bust, so who knows what an upturn might bring?

Week 10 – Summary – Final Week
A small profit of £15 in the final week of the Fantastic Eights Trial. To say it’s been an up and down trial would an understatement. I mean a 20/1 and 2 x 10/1 winners over the trial and we still end up in negative territory. A case of if you throw enough arrows you are bound to hit the target on occasions. Still only a slight loss was made and I will be back with my full Verdict in the new year.

Glad to see you covering some of the Betfan and Betting Gods products. I get bombarded with so many promos from them both, that it is at times bewildering, and will be interesting to see if they actually have anything worthwhile.
